I just discovered that cooking a pot roast is not the ideal in a Le Creuset on top of an induction stove. It’s best done in a slow cooker. I have done tons and tons of these in the past on a slow cooker, but gave mine away a while ago….
So now, I am learning that I best get another slow cooker, because the meat gets so tender and it melts in your mouth! Yummmmmmm……..delish!
Put in the vegetables first. Many recipes call for carrots and such. However, I feel that you can use almost anything. Use onions, caramelize them first, or celery, green onions, broccoli and cauliflower. It all is delicious. I put just a little bit of lemon into the broth too, sooooo good!
With potatoes, the veggies and then the meat falling apart in your mouth, oh what a joy to our palate, mind, soul and body. For sure!
